In north central China, a little girl lives in an orphanage. She was born prematurely. She’s three years old, but so small that she wears 12-month-old sized clothes. In China, she will be taken care of by the system, but she could be so much more. She needs a forever family to thrive, and we want to provide that for her.
We’ve written this site to let you see behind the curtain of what is normally a very private matter. Click here to learn more about Sophie, adoption in general, and the latest in our adoption.
God is proving to us that adoption is affordable for everyone who is called to pursue it (including us). Take a look at the financial challenges and donate your time or your network.
Please take a moment to email this website to friends, family, co-workers, strangers or whomever. If you have a Facebook or Twitter or any social networking account, those are great too.
The most important gift we could receive from you is prayer. Click here to see specific prayer needs or to learn more about the role faith plays in our family, and to comment.
There are other things to do as well:
- Read the latest on the process by following the menu on the right to the Most Recent Posts.
- If you want a list of posts sorted in order of the adoption process, then click here.
- Post a comment on any page – we read them and respond.
- Follow some of the Links on the right hand menu for other informational sites.
